The goal of the Carnival has always been to attract both the traditional netball schools and others who may have only recently discovered the wonders of our great game. Any School or Club team of school age is welcome at the Gold Coast Netball Carnival. This is not an elite event; all teams are welcome regardless of their playing ability.
The standard of netball is always high and despite the quality and competitiveness of matches, the Carnival spirit and philosophy has always been evident. Club teams, particularly from areas where there is little or no school rugby, are most welcome to join in the fun.
The Gold Coast Netball Carnival is a youth sporting event held on the Gold Coast each July. Our event is a week long Netball Carnival focused on Spirit and Sportsmanship. We have a proud 14 year history with over 60 teams competing at our carnival.
Playing divisions include: Senior Division (18years and under), Intermediate Division (16years and under), Junior Division (14years and under) and Mini Division (12years and under) .
There is no overall champion at our Carnival – one deserving group each year is presented with the coveted Spirit Award, decided on a vote of all participants: schools, clubs, referees and organisers. There is also a Barbarian Award appointed to one player from each team.
For a great week of Netball mixed with Sun, Surf , Sand and a bloody good holiday! Come and test your skills against national and international teams whilst visiting Australia’s premier theme parks and world class beaches.
The objectives of the Carnival are for players and officials to have a wonderful opportunity to experience a great week of sun, surf, sand and shopping as well as some great Netball against a variety of national and international teams. The fabulous Gold Coast Theme Parks, the annual Beach Games and the Carnival Dinner combining rugby and netball players are always popular.

Team supporters are very much welcomed to our events.
Our tours often provide a once in a lifetime opportunity not only for the players but also for family and friends.
Supporters may choose to be part of the “Player” group and participate in all that group’s activities or have a separate supporters’ itinerary tailor made to co-ordinate with that of the tour team.
Supporters may be more interested in activities such as whale watching, deep sea fishing, hinterland drives, golf etc., than theme park visits, your options are endless … just ask!
